The Electric Grandmother that was released in 1982. This is a NBC, 60 minute, made for tv movie. I never saw this thing growing up, but it turns out that a lot of kids did. Many of my friends would talk about this thing and it sounded like a fever dream. All of them also assumed that it must have been based on a book that they never read in class.
